Indeed - the shading is pretty good, but it would look even better if one would see less of the "contact points" where the streaks overlap (that is especially evident at those long hair strangds that frame Camus' face. But otherwise a very clean shading. Good job! You do really well in your last artworks and it is evident that you are improving fast.

By the way, I have to admit when I first saw you use that stamp here [link] I wondered why you used that (as I only knew your old anime style pics) - but now that I have seen what keen eye you have for detail if you work from a reference, I can understand it and I'm pretty much impressed.

I knew that someone was going to say that. I try to do my best when it comes to shading with pencil. I was very tempted to use GIMP to smooth it out some but it was VERY close to the time that I was just about to pass out from sleep loss on the keyboard. I might go back and smooth it out so it looks better.

When you have an art teacher who expects you to get three projects along the same line, you have learn quick or you will fail the class. U.U I didn't want to fail my favourite subject.

Well, if you find the time to smoothen it, that would be great. And also if you'd give your coloured Mu some eyelashes. He looks a bit nekkid without them.

By the way, your pencils of Mu and Camus from the reference pic were so good that DHC at first thought you traced them! (I could prove it to her, though, that you didn't trace them and she went "Wow. Just wow!") XD

Lol. Poor Mu has to go eyelashless. XD Alright, I can give him some eyelashes too. Yea...GIMP sounds like a good choice. I don't think that my mother would like it if she saw that I had shiney gray fingers. >>;;
